Every other shopper checks food products’ place of origin
Only every second Hungarians are influenced in their buying decisions by which country a product comes from. What is more, from them only every third are consciously looking for Hungarian products. István Tresó, the head of K&H’s agricultural sector development division told that their representative survey was conducted with 500 participants and it also revealed that only 4 percent of consumers don’t know where the food they buy comes from or rarely make a conscious effort to buy Hungarian products.
