U.S. companies spent more than ever on online advertising
The value spent on online advertising increased by almost one-quarter, by 23 percent, to 7.3 billion USD in the first quarter in the United States – shows the recently published datas of Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
This is an absolute record. The companies have never spent so much on online advertising.
“The sustained and significant growth, from year to year indicates that digital media has become popular among the advertisers. The World Wide Web has become the most effective tool for retaining customers and acquiring new ones” – said Randall Rothernberg, President and CEO of IAB – reports Világgazdaság Online.
