Every second Hungarian would subscribe to toilet paper or a razor
Three-quarters of Hungarians have an online subscription to some product or service, or perhaps a combination of these, and the majority consider them particularly useful, the data of Shoptet’s recent representative survey show.
Streaming dominates in this area, but 5% of Hungarians also subscribe to content that supports an important person or cause. The research also revealed that we would definitely be open to the continuous ordering of household appliances. In addition to predictability, we also want surprises: a fifth of women would like to subscribe to a beauty box, the contents of which they do not know in advance, and even more to a kitchen package that sends recipes and their ingredients.
77% of Hungarians subscribe to some online service, product or a combination of these. The majority of respondents (42%) think that they have few subscriptions and that they are all useful to them. And every 5th Hungarian subscribes to a lot of things, and according to his confession, he uses all or most of them. Based on the research, 16% of our compatriots could keep their wallets thicker if they reviewed their subscriptions from time to time and canceled a few because they don’t use them.
