What changes does the coronavirus pandemic bring to agriculture
The emergence of the coronavirus has been a major concern for agriculture and the food industry. The initial shock affected all European states: with the cessation of tourism and hospitality, a lot of short-lived food was wasted or longer-term storage had to be solved – Magyar Nemzet wrote. Restrictions on free movement have also dampened demand, and the shortage of seasonal workers has caused a serious situation, especially in Western European countries. Transport difficulties also contributed mainly to the drastic decline in demand for perishable goods. (agrarszektor.hu)
