What kind of alcohol remains in Russia? Any, but 20% more expensive
The Russians may be preparing for a brutal price increase: partly because of the sanctions imposed by Western companies on the Russian market – we have already published several lists of companies that remain and leave – and partly because of financial sanctions and logistical difficulties affecting domestic manufacturers and producers. It is not difficult to guess that the retail chains themselves will want to make extra money on alcohol, as they will have to make up for the shortfall caused by the fall in the price of officially priced products. On average, each alcohol will cost 20% more soon. The cheapest beer and vodka remain, as Russians have an abundant amount of their own grain and production line.
