Veganuary inspires millions of people in the UK
Veganuary continues to be an important sales period for British retailers: according to YouGov data, more than a third of British adults plan to buy plant-based products in January.

Around a third of the 37% of consumers who purchase plant-based foods prefer whole plant proteins, e.g. beans, lentils, tofu, while 23% like minimally processed, unrefined and whole foods that retain most of their original nutritional content and meat alternatives. Aldi’s Plant Menu product range is playing a key role in the initiative in January for the third year now.
