Milk’s price climbed back
In April 2017 agricultural production prices increased by 4.1 percent from the level of April 2016 – reported the Central Statistical Office (KSH). This rise was the result of the price of vegetable products decreasing by 1.2 percent and livestock/products of animal origin prices increasing by 14.5 percent from the base period level. Milk’s price surged by 26 percent and reached the level that was measured at the end of 2014.
