Why food becomes moldy?
People think that mold on foods are due to inadequate cleanliness and hygiene. Nowadays, however, the common belief came to light that mold in foods are natural. That is how we can be certain that purchased product is made in the traditional way and does not contain additives or preservatives.
DID YOU KNOW THAT
– Mold is microscopic fungis
– The color of mold is made by the spores and vegetative body of the mold
– The moldy jams should be thrown out, while in case of moldy cheese it is enough to cut around at least 2.5 cm near the moldy spot
– The food and medicine industry uses a number of molds to produce pharmaceuticals and antibiotics
