The promised state guarantees for the Surjány-Hús meat company were withdrawn
The government cannot undertake a state guarantee legally for the Surjány-Hús meat company, because the conditions necessary do not fully been met the conditions set out in the legislation – Fazekas Sándor Minister of Agriculture replied to teh written question of Magyar Zoltán (Jobbik) MP.
Magyar Zoltán wanted to know why the promised state guarantees for the Surjány-Hús meat company were withdrawn.
The Törökszentmiklós-based Surjány-Hús meat company (that was among the five large meat industrial groups) became insolvent on 14 May 2015 and initated bankruptcy process against itself. (MTI)
