Why don’t we respect food?
The fight against food waste is not primarily a question of money, but of awareness, and one of the most important elements is the cooperation of state, civil and corporate actors and the Hungarian media – all the speakers agreed at the online conference of the Media Union, which was opened by Minister of Agriculture Nagy István.
This year’s Media Union Foundation, “Live Fully!” social campaign aims to reduce food waste. It was launched in August 2020 and will run until March next year. In the framework of this, an online conference was organized to further strengthen the professional dialogue, to connect old and new actors, to learn about innovative solutions and new opportunities.
