How are modern lenses different?
Today with increased screen time, many of us are experiencing digital eye fatigue and we are resting our eyes less and less. ZEISS has been developing its lenses for more than 175 years and uses special technology to examine our eyes, such as the ZEISS i.Profilerplus: this wavefront technology transmits light rays into the eye and analyses how the rays return from there. It determines the refraction of the eye to within 0.01 dioptres.
ZEISS BlueGuard lenses filter blue light at the core and filter out up to 40% of harmful blue light for an aesthetic appearance, and all lenses – even the colourless ones – have full UV protection, offering the same protection as premium sunglasses. The company’s personalised lenses not only protect the whole family when doing digital work, but also slow down the progression of myopia in children with ZEISS’ specially developed range of lenses, ZEISS MyoCare.
