What characterizes unemployed young people in Hungary today
In Hungary, in the period before the coronavirus pandemic, approx. 15% of those not working but not studying between the ages of 15 and 34 were so-called NEET youth. While employment has been growing steadily in recent years, the question arises: who are the NEET youth in Hungary today, and how can they be helped, especially after the coronavirus?
Coca-Cola Hungary’s #énjövőm (#my future) program intends to help young people find a job in the labor market has helped more than 9,000 job-seeking young people in recent years, with a total of more than 80 personal trainings in various parts of the country, involving more than 20 qualified trainers. On behalf of the program, Kantar-Hoffmann recently conducted research on various target groups.
