The Chinese-Hungarian joint venture, the BBCA Szolnok Zrt. and the Hungarian Development Bank (MFB) have signed a 12-year loan agreement for nearly 32 billion HUF loan for the construction of a citric acid plant – MFB told MTI on Monday.
According to the bank’s announcement, the total investment cost will be about 46 billion forints. The citric acid plant will be built with the financing of the MFB to the Szolnok Industrial Park.
Szalay Ferenc, the mayor of Szolnok, emphasized that the investment will create 255 new jobs in the region. The operation of the factory also requires a significant supply of services and raw materials. (MTI)
