Metsä Board – packaging, from the forest to recycling
One of the world’s biggest forest management companies, the Metsä Group’s packaging material manufacturer Metsä Board realised EUR 2 billion sales in 2013. They employ 3,100 people in 9 production facilities of 3 countries. Pasi Piiparinen, Metsä Board’s vice president of commerce told our magazine that they offer premium solutions in consumer and retail packaging, graphic and office use. Since the company uses fresh forest fibre to manufacture cartonboards, their products are stronger, more durable but at the same time shiny white as well, communicating cleanness and premium quality. The origin of raw materials can be tracked and they meet the strictest international requirements. All of the company’s products can be ordered via Metsä Board’s Hungarian office.(x)
