Tesco expands its fleet with Mercedes vans
The Tesco and the Mercedes-Benz have signed a strategic cooperation agreement on Tuesday in Budapest. In the scope of the agreement Mercedes becomes the exclusive vehicles supplier of Tesco in Hungary. Tesco uses Mercedes vans to its online shopping service launched in March this year.
Nigel Jones, chief executive of Tesco-Global Áruházak Zrt. told at the press conference notifying the cooperation, that currently 40 vans are available to supply the needs of the online shopping service. By the end of the year they are willing to expand the number of vans to 65. (MTI)
