How much do young people spend at festivals?
The Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) conducted a survey on the festival-going habits of university students. More than half of them visit festivals 1-2 times a year, spending HUF 39,312 per occasion. As for their drinking habits, mineral water is the most popular, followed by spirits, and then come wine, spritzer or beer. The majority of respondents would set the price of the latter at HUF 400-500. There were nearly 3,000 participants in the study, and more than half of the money they spent at festivals had come from their parents.
