Beekeeping Association: the worst honey harvest of the fifty years is expected this year
The worst honey yield in the last fifty years is expected this year, only a third or a quarter of the average yield – the president of the National Hungarian Beekeeping Association told M1 news channel.
Bross Péter emphasized that there will be no honey for sale on the Hungarian free market by January, and the bad harvest can also be seen in the prices: the price of linden and acacia honey, for example, has risen by 50 percent in the last month, compared to last year. (MTI)
