Beekeeping at ABB for data analysis
ABB’s Krakow-based Corporate Research Center holds bees in beehives on the roof of the building, not just to improve the city’s environmental condition, but also to test computer algorithms.
Many of the company’s breakthrough technologies were created at ABB’s Research Centers (CRC). ABB’s research center in Poland is unlike any other in that it is not only cutting edge research. On the roof, a tiny apiary has been established, housing 50,000-60,000 bees.
