This year’s Symbol of Sustainability winners announced
Trade magazine has announced the fourth edition of its Symbol of Sustainability competition. From the entries received this year, 18 winners were selected in the 5 categories announced. For the first time, a Green Communication special award will be presented, with the Green Chapter of the Hungarian Marketing Association as the jury.
Every year the Symbol of Sustainability competition wishes to showcase, on Trade magazine’s platforms, as many successful projects as possible that contribute to a more sustainable future.
A large professional jury evaluated the entries in the five categories online, following a pre-selection process, and then came a second round of assessment in person. This year, for the first time, applicants also had the opportunity to compete in a separate CSR category. Those entries that scored 70% of the maximum points available won the Symbol of Sustainability award.
It was a new element in this year’s competition that the Green Communication special award of the Green Chapter of the Hungarian Marketing Association (MMSZ) could also be won. This prize was awarded to the best entry from among the successful entries for the Symbol of Sustainability 2023 competition, as judged by the members of the Green Chapter’s presidency – representing the entire membership – on the basis of the communication criteria set out in the competition announcement.
It is true for all the winners that their successful entries, whether corporate or brand-specific, set an example to market players, their customers and consumers in general through their commitments, development projects and investments.
This year’s winners will receive their certificates of recognition and special prizes from the jury at the Business Days 2023 conference, on 27 September 2023, at Hunguest Hotel Pelion in Tapolca.
