Consumer habits have changed, and prize games in retail are making a difference
In addition to points collection cards and applications, customers also like to use the applications of individual stores, but they are most attracted to prize games. VG Podcast’s staff talked to Ynsight Research researcher Csiby Fruzsina about the change in shopping habits.
Since the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic, our lives have changed enormously, which has not left our shopping habits untouched either. A lot has changed since 2020, and the supply difficulties due to the economic crisis and the Russian-Ukrainian war are presenting both food chains and customers with new and new challenges, which, of course, we also liked to talk about online in 2022. The research team of Ynsight Research examined how many times and how Hungarians mentioned domestic stores on the Internet, in order to find out where they would most like to shop in 2022, Világgazdaság points out.
The results of the online survey showed that Aldi and Lidl dominate Hungarians’ online conversations. The discourses are mostly about where to buy official-priced products and in what quantities. Promotions are important to Hungarians and they love prize games. However, they do not like to spend a lot of time in the store, and queuing has an alarming effect on purchases.
