It is being renewed, which is why the Nébih antibiotic use notification system has stopped
Evaluating last year’s experience, Nébih introduces several innovations in the antibiotic use reporting system. In accordance with the regulations, the veterinarians had to record the December reports on the interface by January 15. Starting this week, the system will be temporarily unavailable in order to allow veterinarians and their representatives to use the new functions when submitting the January data.

Since the beginning of last year, veterinarians must prepare a monthly report on antibiotics used in food-producing animals. Those concerned can comply with the obligation to provide data through Nébih’s Customer Profile System (https://upr.nebih.gov.hu/).
The experiences of the first almost one year highlighted some typical mistakes and misunderstandings
One of them is that in all cases the quantity of drugs actually administered to the animals must be brought to the surface and not the commercial quantity ordered or prescribed. It was also a problem for many that, in the case of medicated feeds, when recording the data, the name of the commercial product should not be given, but the veterinary preparation contained in it. Only the latter are available in the reporting system’s database.
Veterinarians can also use the help of those authorized to provide data
However, among the changes in 2022, it is important to point out that in the case of each authorized person, it is mandatory to specify which specific breed(s) they can act on, i.e. they can record the data. And the report can still be finalized only by the veterinarian. It is important to keep in mind that a company cannot give a power of attorney for tasks related to usage data, and an authorized person can only be a private person.
Based on the practical experience so far, the office is also working on the introduction of several functions that help the use of the interface. In order to sharpen the developments, your system is temporarily unavailable from this week. The goal is for those concerned to be able to use the new functions when submitting the January data.
