Tiszafüred Open Water Beach and its surroundings will be renewed
Tiszafüred Free Water Beach and its surroundings, as well as Halas tér and its surroundings, will be renewed for 300 million forints, the company responsible for the communication of the project told MTI on Tuesday.
The non-refundable support for the investment was obtained from the Regional and Urban Development Operative Program Plusz (Top Plusz) by the municipality-owned Tisza-Víz Víztermelő és Szolgáltató Kft., which is also the operator of the Tiszafüred Open Water Beach – they wrote.
With the development to be completed by the end of 2025, it is hoped that visitors to Tiszafüred and Lake Tisza will spend more time here. At the same time, new tourist services will be created that contribute to the development of the region, directly or indirectly, by creating jobs, they said.
The Tiszafüred Free Water Beach and its surroundings will be renewed: the Halastér stage will be reconstructed, a beach library, a beach shop and a beach buffet will be established in the area. In addition, an event space will be created with two buffets, a public water block and social rooms will be created.
Part of the project is the establishment of a lightweight warehouse and the creation of a walkway next to the existing flagstone pavement. An information viewing point will be created, with content related to Lake Tisza displayed on all pages. The 4-meter-high column will resemble a lighthouse.
During the project, a playground, a water playground, and a bicycle track will also be built, and a permanent outdoor exhibition space will also be created, the announcement states.
