Russian cucumber and tomato crops have jumped
Nearly 30 percent more vegetables have been harvested in Russian orchards so far in 2020 than in the same period of 2019 – agrarszektor.hu wrote.
The largest share comes from sprouted cucumbers, of which this year by more than 25 percent was harvested, but tomatoes were also harvested by nearly 40 percent more by June 2020. In Russia, by the way, investment in vegetable growing has skyrocketed in recent years, and the goal is to move towards self-sufficiency. (agrarszektor.hu)
