The volume of retail sales jumped in August in the euro area
The volume of retail sales in the euro area increased significantly, more than expected, in August.
The European Union’s statistical office (Eurostat) said on Monday that seasonally adjusted data showed that retail sales in the 19-member eurozone grew by 4.4 percent month-on-month and by 3.7 percent year-on-year. (MTI)
