A sharp increase in the retail trade of the Czech Republic
Retail sales in the Czech Republic increased by 6.1 percent last November on an annual comparision, after the 0.6 percent decline of October – the Czech Statistical Office announced on Friday. Such an increase occurred in retailing in January 2011 the last time.
According to the statisticians, the energetic rise is mainly due to the sales increase of the web stores and mail ordering services, car sales and generally the sales of non-food goods.
The working days adjusted November index indicated a 7.8 percent increase in sales, compared to the previous month and a 3.6 percent increase seasonal effect adjusted. (MTI)
