Surge in the number of job offer advertisements

Last year about 30 percent more job offers have been posted on Profession.hu than in 2014, and the number of job offers increased by 21 percent at the market leader job website. On average there were 7,939 ads uploaded to Profession.hu a month, by 2,388 companies (32 percent more than in the previous year).

Job offers in the sales and retail sector represented 10.2 percent of all postings. In 2015 the monthly average of job applications submitted to Profession.hu was 217,193 – 14 percent more than the year before. 16 percent of these people wanted to work in sales or retail.

Just like in 2014, the most job offer advertisements were placed in Budapest (37 percent), Pest County (10.9 percent) and Győr-Moson-Sopron County (5 percent). Recruitment agencies advertised the most often, followed by multinational companies such as Tesco (2.6 percent) or the Bosch group (1.6 percent). /
