The catfish cooking festival in Tiszacsege is held
Due to the pandemic situation, the catfish cooking festival will be held in Tiszacsege on Saturday with fewer participants than planned – the owner of the Csegei fishery tavern, which has been organizing the event for years, told MTI.
Nagy Sándor said that the catfish cooking festival is one of their most popular autumn events, last year 158 teams competed.
This year’s eighth festival will be different from the previous ones due to the virus situation, it will be held in a “restricted version”: only eighty domestic teams will be allowed to compete on the banks of the Tisza, where there will be no performers this time either, he added. (MTI)
