Simple Classic is being discontinued – the renewed application arrives with new features
The older version of the Simple application, Simple Classic, will be permanently phased out at the end of 2025, HVG announced. Users should switch to the new generation version in time, as the latest developments and functions are only available in this version.
One of the most important new features of the new application is that in addition to Mastercard cards, Visa cards can now be registered for contactless payments. In addition, the Simple Bit loyalty program has been introduced, which allows users to track their finances in a more transparent way. Administration is also supported by several developments, such as quick parking payment or dark mode display.
A unique innovation is the collection and redemption of SuperShop points, as well as the Discover function, which offers discounted offers from SimplePay merchants in one place.
Although Simple Classic will remain usable until the end of 2025, according to the service provider, it is worth switching to the renewed application as soon as possible due to the new functions and convenience solutions.
