The competitive disadvantage of EU e-merchants could be eliminated
The tax package submitted recently includes, among other things, the implementation of the EU’s e-commerce VAT reform. According to Antretter Erzsébet, senior manager of the tax consulting business of the Niveus Consulting Group, this was to be expected, as the so-called e-commerce VAT package, which is mandatory in the member states of the European Union, was adopted last year.
