The owners of the two companies, Gallicoop Zrt. In Szarvas and Gallfood Kft. are planning to merge the two largest turkey processing companies in Hungary, agrarszektor.hu wrote.

The merger, which will require the approval of the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH), would create a huge poultry company on a domestic scale, which is expected to start catching up with major European poultry sector integrations. (MTI)
