Coca-Cola spoke about the Croatian scandal
There was an alkaline cleaning or degreasing agent in the flavored mineral water, after drinking which a man in Croatia was hospitalized with severe oral and larynx injuries, the report of the forensic laboratory revealed on Thursday.
Another 20 glass bottles containing the same drink, received in their original packaging, were found to have the usual pH value liquid, said the Fiume Police Department, which led the investigation.
In Croatia, in the last few days, 45 people reported to the emergency department of a hospital with oral injuries, claiming that they had consumed one of the carbonated soft drinks of Coca-Cola’s distributor in Croatia.
