Expensive restaurants suffer from the Chinese government's austerity campaign
In China, the vast majority of the expensive restaurants are affected badly by the government’s austerity campaign, which aimed to reduce the number of events funded from the central budget – a new research shows.
According to the survey of the Chinese catering industry association (CCA), released this weekend, more than 60 percent of the hotels and restaurants in China, especially the high-end units are affected badly by the Chinese government’s campaign announced last autumn. (MTI)
