Kifli.hu retained its first place in the online food market
Kifli.hu has topped the FMCG category of the e-commerce top list compiled by PwC this year, and is now the second largest player in the e-commerce market overall.
Kifli.hu remains the largest player in the FMCG segment of domestic online commerce: it has ranked first in the industry top list for the third time in a row. Previously compiled by GKID, and now by PwC, the ranking takes into account gross sales revenue measured in forints. In addition to its FMCG lead, the Hungarian online supermarket of the Czech Rohlik Group, Kifli.hu, also improved its overall position: it improved one place on the list covering the entire online commerce sector and became the second largest player.
Kifli.hu has been present on the Hungarian market since 2019, and it was first included in the e-commerce top list in 2020: it immediately ranked 2nd in the FMCG area and 12th in the overall top list at that time. It took over the leading position in the FMCG category from Tesco in 2022, and by then had already managed to reach fifth place on the entire list. In the comparison based on the 2023 results, it already topped the entire list in addition to being the leader in online FMCG commerce.
Kifli.hu will continue to grow in 2025, which is why it has expanded its delivery time slots and area on the section from Budapest to Székesfehérvár and Lake Balaton, and the company has also begun to expand from the capital to Kecskemét, as a completely new area.
