Recycling a type of waste that has been buried until now
Hamburger Recycling Hungary Kft. is putting special machinery into operation in Lőrinci.

The technology makes it possible to recycle industrial strapping belts, which are used in large quantities in logistics and hasn’t been possible to recycle in Hungary until now. Since China stopped importing waste in 2018, PET or PP-based industrial strapping used for packaging and transport in Europe is largely dumped underground. Estimation is that 3,000 tonnes will be recycled at the new plant in the first year after the launch, said Mária Karczub, managing director of Hamburger Recycling Hungary Kft. //
