Biofach is open
Nuremberg will host Europe’s largest organic trade fair in the coming days. February 13-16, 2024. at the event between The Biofach exhibition is considered the world’s leading organic trade fair, as it attracts more than 35,000 professional visitors and around 117 conferences are held during the event.
The appearance is also a huge opportunity for Hungarian companies participating in the organic sector, as it is an excellent venue for the presentation of novelties, innovative foods or cosmetics. The Agricultural Marketing Center is a regular participant in the exhibition, this time 12 companies offer their products and services to professional visitors at a 116 square meter stand. At the Hungarian stand, among other things, organic vegetables and fruits, drinking juices, dried spices, organic gluten-free products, and cold-pressed oils are offered to the attention of potential buyers, but for the first time, in addition to food, you can also find specialties such as organic feed mixtures or organic veterinary preparations.
The Hungarian Food Business Program, the food export development business of the Agrármarketing Centrum, will also appear at the exhibition, where potential foreign buyers are continuously registered on the digital platform called the Hungarian Food Business Catalogue. The primary purpose of the online database is to bring together Hungarian companies wishing to export with foreign distributors. Currently, 219 Hungarian food manufacturing companies with more than two thousand products, 364 foreign purchasing companies and another 129 other users (typically embassies, consulate generals, professional organizations) are registered in the catalog.
