The Budapest Christmas Fair has opened

The Budapest Advent and Christmas Fair opened on Vörösmarty Square in Budapest. The multi-week event awaits its visitors with rich gastronomic offerings, art and crafts products, and festive programs from 10 November to 31 December.

Bán Teodóra, head of the Budapest Festival and Tourism Center said that they have been preparing for the Christmas Fair for months. About 800,000 visitors are expected from abroad and from Hungary. According to her description, the event is also popular among craftsmen, almost twice as many craftsmen want to paerticipate at the fair this year than in previous years. (MTI)
