Hungarian agriculture is entering a new era and can continue to catch up with the production levels of the most advanced European competitors, said the State Secretary for Agriculture and Rural Development of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) on Wednesday at the opening of the 40th AGROmashEXPO International Agricultural and Agricultural Machinery Exhibition in Budapest.

Feldman Zsolt called the most important task of the government to make Hungarian farmers the winner of change with rural development subsidies, encouraging the increase of productivity and added value. In the midst of global changes, the ability to innovate, information, knowledge and global supply chains will only be successful in those who seek collaboration rather than individual path-finding, he stressed.
