The 30th Festival of Crafts has opened its gates
The 30th Festival of Crafts has opened its gates to the public. At the festival, eight hundred master craftsmen – including craftsmen from Uzbekistan, China and Yakutia – will present themselves from Thursday to Sunday in the Buda Castle.
Folk art is a very important part of our past as well as handmade crafts based on folk traditions – Varga Mihály Minister of National Economy emphasized at the opening of the event on Thursday in the Buda Castle.
He pointed out that the richer a nation's traditions, the more likely to build its future on national values in the 21st century. (MTI)
