The efficiency of the Budaörs METRO has increased
In the spirit of applying the new multi-channel wholesale model, METRO is renovating all 13 domestic members of the department store chain – the renovation of the Budaörs department store is the tenth in a series of renovations that started in 2022. The renewed store was handed over to customers in a ceremonial setting on February 29.
In 2021, the department store chain defined its international operating strategy focusing on key customer groups – catering and retail customers. The goal of the strategy is to complete multi-channel wholesale sales, as well as to increase and simplify the efficiency of work processes within the company. The pillars of the multi-channel wholesale model are store sales, delivery business, and digital services – all of them are affected by the development, but to the outside observer, the transformation of stores and customer areas is the most obvious. So far, a total of 10 of the chain’s 13 domestic members have been renovated: Budakalás, Kelet-Pest, Szeged, Szombathely, Győr, Nyíregyháza, Székesfehérvár, Ferencváros, Miskolc, and most recently Budaörs.
