Increased demand for vegan food at UK airports
Holidaymakers with a traditional preference for a meat-heavy breakfast and beer are increasingly opting for vegan meals, snacks and dairy substitutes at UK airports, while many have swapped beer for smoothie or alcoholic-free beer. MAG, the UK’s largest airport group operating London Stansted, East Midlands and Manchester airports believes: the surge in vegan and non-alcoholic product sales at airports suggests passengers are making more ethical and health-conscious choices. //
