Inflation has jumped
In February, consumer prices were an average 2.9 percent higher than a year before and rose 0.4 percent in a month – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Wednesday.
The increase is slightly higher than the 2.7 – 2.8 percent expectations of the analysts and a significant acceleration after the 2.3 percent inflation of January and 1.8 percent inflation of December. In January-February this year, consumer prices increased by an average of 2.6 percent. (MTI)
