The Joy of Giving has begun! the personal collection phase of the fundraising campaign – even the smallest donation is worth a treasure
The Hungarian Charity Service of Malta and SPAR Hungary will launch Christmas Giving Joy in 2023 as well! campaign: between December 14th and 19th, volunteers will accept personally handed donations in designated stores of the chain. Customers can make the holiday of thousands of families in need more beautiful and joyful with the durable food and sweets for children purchased in the stores.
“The value of the gift does not depend on how much it cost, as even a couple of hundred forints worth of durable food can bring joy to families where the most important thing in everyday life is necessity. That’s why we chose the motto of this year’s initiative, “Your donation is worth a treasure!” its small communities surprise disadvantaged families across the country who do not have a lot of assets”
– said Márk Maczelka, head of communications at SPAR Hungary. He added that in preparation for the holiday, the company commissioned the latest research summarizing the donation collection habits of the Hungarian population, and based on the answers received, it was found that nine out of ten people agree that even the smallest donation can be useful. The communication of this year’s campaign wants to strengthen this idea, which draws attention to the fact that even by donating a single product, we can do a lot for our fellow human beings during the holiday season.
