The wine weeks events series in Balatonfüred have been opened, and a wide range of gastronomic offerings and cultural programs await visitors in the lakeside town on 2 September.
Kis Miklós, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture emphasized on Friday’s opening ceremony that the traditional trademark of Hungarian culture is wine.
According to Kis Miklós, Balatonfüred can be considered a gastronomic and cultural experience that has excellent wines each year and called it the “jewel of Hungarian culture”. (MTI)
