Hungary’s digital food industry strategy has been published
As a result of thorough preparatory work, Hungary’s Digital Food Industry Strategy was completed and published.
The birth of the strategy, like Hungary’s Digital Agrarian Strategy, was initiated and coordinated by the Ministry of Agriculture. The specialist portfolio worked together with Neumann Nonprofit Közhasznú Kft., interest representatives, and professional organizations, scientific research results were also used during the creation of the concept. The goal of Hungary’s Digital Food Industry Strategy is to provide support, regulation, and training assistance that can further increase the efficiency and competitiveness of the domestic food industry by connecting with other elements of the chain within the food chain, yet focusing on the food industry. The sector is on a stable foundation, it has performed well even under the changed circumstances of previous periods, but at the same time it is strongly affected by the current global crisis. By increasing the use of digital tools and services, the food industry can be further strengthened by increasing export capacity and providing consumers with safe, high-quality domestic products.
