A call for proposals for rural development support has been published

The Hungarian government is committed to strengthening the economy of rural areas through the “Renewable Countryside, Renewable Agriculture” program. The latest stage of the program was the announcement of the call for proposals entitled Diversification of Non-Agricultural Activities – Development of Rural Tourism, the Ministry of Agriculture announced on Friday.

As stated in the Communication, the aim of the call is to support the provision of start-up or existing accommodation services for micro-enterprises in rural areas and to strengthen income generation and employment. Within the framework of the call, it is possible, among other things, to further develop accommodation establishments already operated by farmers or to create new ones, to develop related additional tourist services and to acquire the necessary equipment. The planned budget available for support is 50 billion HUF. (MTI)
