Nielsen’s Consumer Confidence Index repeated its July results
According to the survey of Nielsen Market Research Company; In August, the consumer confidence index retained its highest level this year, the 48 points of July.
After the March nadir of 37 points the Consumer Confidence Index improves continuosly. But the 48 points indicator of July and August is still far away of what could be called optimistic. The sixty-three percent of the respondents at the nadir of March declared domestic career opportunities within the next twelve months bad, while 49 percent in August. Those who has "good opinion" decreased from the July 7 percent to 6 percent in August.
