Gluttonous Thursday again
Gluttonous Thursday in Budapest is a food-lover's dream, and it can be a great opportunity for travelers to sample some of Budapest's best cuisine at half the price. It will be on 6th March this year.
Held the Thursday after Ash Wednesday, Gluttonous Thursday is a day when participating restaurants offer 50% off their menu prices. The Hungarian Tourist Office began this tradition, which has grown in popularity each year. Restaurants offer discounts for lunch and dinner.
