The deadline for the SME competition with a total prize of HUF 15 million has been extended
The Generali Group has announced the EnterPRIZE international program, which supports the sustainability efforts of small and medium-sized enterprises, for the fifth time. The deadline for submitting applications supporting sustainable initiatives in the Hungarian SME sector has been extended to June 30.
Companies will receive a total of HUF 15 million in gross support in three categories. EnterPRIZE awards the best applications in the areas of environmental protection, employee well-being and responsibility for the microenvironment.
EnterPRIZE also supports Hungarian sustainability initiatives
Supporting the green transition of SMEs is necessary and timely. The sustainability plans and goals of the European SME sector are therefore supported by the EnterPRIZE international business development and awareness-raising program launched by the Generali Group in 2021, which the Hungarian Generali Insurance Company has also joined.
This year, Hungarian SMEs can submit their applications in three categories. The Generali Group will award sustainability ideas and initiatives with a total of 15 million forints gross: the winners of the environmental applications will receive 7 million forints, while the best in the employee well-being and microenvironmental responsibility categories will receive 4 million forints each.
The “Environmental Protection” category supports small and medium-sized enterprises that produce waste-free products and implement recycling programs and energy efficiency developments aimed at reducing waste.
In the “Employee Well-being” topic, applications are invited from companies that contribute to improving the quality of life of employees and their families by organizing health preservation programs, training, and leisure programs.
In the “Microenvironmental Responsibility” category, applications can be submitted with initiatives that improve the quality of life of local communities: fundraising, aid programs, and community events.
The awardees will also advance to the Generali Group’s international EnterPRIZE competition, and will also become members of the Hungarian EnterPrize Alumni community, which helps share good practices.
