The net surplus of EU funds to Hungary exceeds 11 thousand billion forints
Since joining the EU, Hungary has received more than 11,000 billion forints as EU support by 2017, as it has paid into the community – the head of the European Commission’s Representation in Hungary told.
Zupkó Gábor on the occasion of the 15th anniversary of Hungary’s accession to the EU emphasized that 200,000 projects and project owners have received EU support since the beginning of the membership. The community resources – as he said – created at least 150,000 new jobs and provided vocational trainings for more than 170,000 people, and more than 200,000 people have participated in Erasmus and Erasmus+ programs.
