Auchan Placc awaits festival-goers with affordable prices at this week’s EFOTT
Auchan Placc is opening its doors at EFOTT for the third year, where festival-goers can choose from over 600 products. Following last year’s successful appearance, Auchan is preparing even more new products and services to make the festival visitors’ days as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Private label products will be at store prices, while EFOTT’s fixed-price products will cost an average of 30% less than last year. It will be possible to heat up not only the ready-made meals you have purchased, but there will also be a Placc menu – products bought in the store will be prepared free of charge by the chefs – as well as locally baked baked goods and healthy products.
Auchan Placc’s offer focuses on fresh baked goods, fruits, dairy products, soft drinks, drinks, ice creams, as well as non-food products that are essential at festivals: including mini-packaged hygiene products, sunscreens and travel-sized cosmetics. The selection is dynamically adjusted to emerging needs. In addition to catering to the young people coming to EFOTT, Auchan is also undertaking a bit of attitude-shaping, as self-indulgent fun does not contradict paying attention to the environment and reducing food waste. The remaining products nearing their expiration date will be delivered and distributed by the Hungarian Red Cross to those in need in the area as part of the daily food rescue process common in supermarkets. Those interested in trade are welcome in the Career Zone.
“We are already fully prepared to operate Auchan Placc, with a team of more than 50 people working in the background. There will be a staff of 30 people on site, supplemented by external experts, so that we can provide a quick and quality response to all consumer needs. In addition to Placc, we will also pay special attention to serving festival-goers at our nearest Auchan store in Székesfehérvár, with an extensive seasonal offer and a special product placement specifically for them. Auchan remains committed to serving its customers at favorable prices, high quality and enriched with experiences, and the EFOTT audience is no exception. We are working to ensure that festival-goers can truly spend these few days without any worries”
– said Géza Vincze, Managing Director of Auchan Hungary Kft.
